AMALA Partners privacy
AMALA Partners is the referral portal for Amala Finance, the trading name of Brodie John Ober (ABN 95 195 812 659). This page covers the portal. When someone you refer deals with Amala, the Amala Finance privacy and credit reporting policy applies to that person's finance enquiry.
What we hold about partners
- Name, email, mobile, business name, ABN, GST status and photo.
- Payout details: BSB, account number and account name.
- Your signed agreement, your earnings and your payout history.
- If you sign in with Google, the name, email and profile details Google shares. We do not ask for anything else from your Google account.
What we hold about people you refer
First and last name, mobile, email, rough amount, your note, and a record that you confirmed they agreed to be contacted by Amala. We send these details to Amala's broker team. They are removed from this portal when an application starts, when the lead closes, or after 90 days. After that you see first name and last initial only, with a stage word. You never see a client's file.
How we use it
We use this information to run your account, pass your leads to Amala, show you each lead's stage, work out what you have earned, prepare statements and invoices, and send you alerts.
Who sees it
Amala's team sees what it needs to run the program. Full payout details are shown to the owner only. Service providers host the portal and deliver its texts, emails and alerts. Your information is stored on servers in the United States.
How we protect it
Personal details are encrypted when stored. Passwords are stored as salted hashes. Changing payout details holds your next payout until a person confirms the change.
How long we keep it
We keep earnings and audit records for accounting and compliance. You can ask us to erase your personal details. Records we have to keep stay without those details.
Access, correction and complaints
To access or correct your information, ask for it to be erased, or make a complaint, email support@amalafinance.com.au. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au.
